A quick Google search will show that Beehive Basin Trail, located just below Three Sisters' Ranch, is everything locals and visitors alike look for in a hike. Beehive Basin boasts some of the most breathtaking views Big Sky has to offer. This 6.6 mile round trip hike gains 1,500 feet to a U-shaped glacial cirque with a crystal clear lake that overlooks Lone Peak. It is one of the best places to spot wild flowers in the spring/summer and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing all year round. In the winter, you can also sled, backcountry ski/split board, or snowshoe right from the house.
