Short Term Rentals
EHM offers Vacation Rental Management services for homeowners who are looking to generate rental income while still being able to utilize their property themselves at their leisure. We list properties on numerous booking platforms (i.e. Airbnb and VRBO) to ensure maximum exposure which leads to greater ROI overall. Our team goes above and beyond to provide guests with exceptional experiences and know what goes into achieving five star reviews - a well cared for property, prompt and friendly communication, exceptional housekeeping, accurate listing details and easy check in process. EHM examines the home prior to each guest arrival to confirm all standards are met and does a thorough inspection of the home upon guest departure. In addition, EHM will handle annual maintenance and any coordination of various vendors such as housekeeping, snow removal, and landscaping. Our software allows homeowners to adjust availability, predict revenue, run occupancy and profit/loss reports, and see monthly statements detailing any expenses incurred.
Long Term Housing & Commercial Management
EHM is comprised solely of licensed property managers who will handle all aspects of tenant vetting, collection and processing of rent/security deposits, and lease execution. Our rent processing software allows tenants to create maintenance requests which easily allows EHM to respond in a timely manner. Homeowners have the comfort of knowing they are hands off while EHM has the homeowners best interest at the forefront of our minds and fingers on the pulse of competitive rental rates. EHM is known for an extremely high occupancy rate!
Non-Rental Properties:
EHM offers “straight property management” services for homeowners who have no intentions of renting but want to ensure their home is in optimal condition so they can enjoy it at a moment's notice. We provide detailed weekly walkthroughs with customized inspection records and recommendations where applicable to guarantee the property is 100% functional for homeowners’ (and their friends/family) stays. In addition, EHM will handle annual maintenance and any coordination of various vendors such as housekeeping, snow removal, and landscaping. Special requests could include airport vehicle drop off, grocery purchase and delivery, vehicle maintenance, utility bill payment processing, etc. Homeowners can see a monthly statement detailing any expenses related to the upkeep of their property.

Being born and raised on a homestead in rural Alaska, Sammie is an avid outdoorswoman; running, hunting, biking, skiing, and horseback riding to name a few. Drawn towards the year round outdoor pursuits Montana has to offer, Sammie found her way to Big Sky in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. Sammie’s eye to detail and go-getter attitude quickly found their place in Property Management. Specializing in guest and owner communication, Sammie strives to create exceptional experiences stemming from a personalized level of Property Management services with customized care plans for each unique property. Whether it is facilitating vendors for landscaping, coordinating with our experienced housekeeping teams for a mid-stay clean, or helping guests with ski-in ski-out directions, she is well versed in the intricacies of Southwest Montana. Gaining extensive skills in Short Term Rentals, Long Term Housing, and Non-Rental Property Management, Sammie worked for two other local companies before branching out and starting her own company with her business partner, Alex.
Originally from Phoenix, Alex always knew he would find a way to reside in the mountains. He chose Montana as his forever home, attracted to its beauty, sense of community and its multiple, year-round outdoor activities. He brings over ten years of combined experience in luxury hospitality and management. After graduating from Northern Arizona University’s highly acclaimed Hospitality Program with a Bachelor’s in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Alex joined the real estate management industry at the prestigious Yellowstone Club here in Big Sky. After five years, Alex dove into Long Term Rentals as the predominant provider of local workforce housing. His calm demeanor and vast skill set aided in his ability to provide detailed management services. After meeting Sammie and realizing a shared desire to provide truly boutique and quality care to homeowners and guests alike, that reality came to fruition in the form of Elkhorn Home Management.
